Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Vantage. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
1. Who we are
Vantage is provided by Vantage Enterprises Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17334160) and the parent company of Harry Moores Media. Contact: support@vantagecull.com.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and use Vantage for lawful purposes only. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3. Early access & beta
Vantage is currently in early access. Features may change, and occasional bugs or downtime are possible. We provide the service on a reasonable-efforts basis and may update, add, or remove features over time.
4. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Vantage for your photography work, including commercial client work, while your account is in good standing. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract our models or source code, except to the extent the law expressly permits.
5. Your content
Your photos are yours. You retain all rights to any images you cull, edit, upload, or deliver through Vantage. You grant us only the limited licence needed to provide the service — for example, to store and transmit a shoot you choose to back up, or to display a gallery you choose to share. We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not claim ownership of your work. You are responsible for having the rights to the images you process.
6. Subscriptions & payment
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly unless stated otherwise) until cancelled. Promotional offers, such as a free trial period, apply as described at checkout; unless cancelled beforehand, the plan continues at the standard price when the promotion ends. You can cancel anytime from your account, effective at the end of the current billing period. Prices may change with reasonable notice. Refund rights are set out in our Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable use
- Don't use Vantage to process unlawful content or content you don't have the rights to.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to our systems.
- Don't misuse cloud storage or galleries to distribute illegal material.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
8. Availability
The desktop app runs locally and works offline for culling and editing. Cloud features (backup, galleries, account, billing) depend on our servers and third parties and may occasionally be unavailable. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service.
9. Liability
Vantage is a tool to assist your workflow; final selection and delivery decisions are yours. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Keep your own backups of important originals.
10. Termination
You may stop using Vantage and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms. On termination, your licence ends; the sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. content ownership, liability) continue to apply.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
12. Changes
We may update these terms as the product develops. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
