Beta Terms
Vantage is in beta. That means it's genuinely useful but still unfinished — you're getting in early and helping shape it. Before you subscribe, please read and agree to these terms. They apply in addition to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy; where they conflict, these Beta Terms win for the beta period.
1. It's beta — expect rough edges
Vantage is provided during beta on an "as is" and "as available" basis. You should expect:
- Bugs, errors and unexpected behaviour.
- Features that are incomplete, that change, or that are added and removed as we develop.
- Occasional downtime or interruptions to cloud features (backup, galleries, account, billing).
- AI scores, picks and edits that are imperfect — Vantage assists your judgement, it doesn't replace it.
2. Some genres are more finished than others
Vantage is tuned for automotive work first — that's the most refined. Culling for other genres (weddings, property, events, portraits, and others) is at an earlier, alpha stage: scores and selections may be noticeably rougher. The app flags these genres with an "alpha development" marker. Use your own eye, and please tell us where it gets things wrong — that feedback is exactly how these genres improve.
3. Look after your own originals
Vantage never moves or deletes your original photos — it only reads the folders you point it at. Even so, as with any beta software, keep your own backups of anything important. We are not responsible for lost time, lost selections, or lost data arising from beta use.
4. Payment, cancellation and refunds
- Paid beta plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. Promotional codes (e.g. a free trial period) apply as shown at checkout.
- No refunds during beta. Because the product is still in active development and offered at an early-access price, beta subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods.
- You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops any further billing and you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- This does not affect rights you have under law that cannot be waived; where such rights apply, they continue to apply.
5. Feedback
We'd love your feedback, and by giving it (bug reports, suggestions, diagnostic logs you choose to send) you allow us to use it to improve Vantage without obligation or payment to you. Diagnostic logs contain app information, never your photos.
6. No warranty; limited liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vantage is provided without warranties of any kind during beta, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost time, or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
7. Changes and ending the beta
We may update these Beta Terms, change or discontinue features, or end the beta, as the product develops. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, let you know in the app or by email. When the beta ends, standard terms and pricing will apply and we'll give you notice before any change to what you pay.
